I’ve always been a huge fan of minimalism and modernism, and these Penguin book covers by David Jenkins at Norwich, are totally where it’s at. The subtlety of concept is the best part - you have to be a real dork to get the reference! And I love it when things make me look like a dork.
I don’t believe they’ve gone into production, but I wish they would. They’re some of the best Penguin covers I’ve ever seen, and Penguin already has a fantastic tradition of cover art.
